EDWIN M. BOONE September 29, 2014 I am the Oldest of five siblings from a single parent home. I never had a stable relationship with my biological father in my 59 years. Growing up on welfare was very hard on us. My mother, a domestic worker, did all she could to help three of five of us become college graduates, thereby making positive contributions to the community and society. There are three things that strike me as major about my mother and her suffering with mental illness. Though born with mental conditions and later diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, she never abused or killed any of her children, and she never attempted suicide. Affected by a nervous breakdown, she had enough courage and strength to fight to the end with dignity. We lived in my Grandmothers house, and I was forced to act as head of the household at a very early age. She had a great impact on our development and encouraged us to believe in God, in ourselves, and, took us to church. I have maintained this belief all my life and I am still pursuing Truth. In pursuit of becoming successful, I graduated from Virginia State College (now University) in 1977 with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration. After graduating from college, I had a burning desire to travel to California to share a Poem I wrote entitled Insight. I first went to Orange County and later relocated to Compton. However, things did not work out as I had desired. After cold-blooded 14 years of struggling to establish a business of my own in California, I was at rock bottom and the only thing I had going for myself was the back of my truck and a part-time job. I do not have access to any finances to promote this Poem. Therefore, in order to generate funds, I ask you to accept Insight for its pureness and boldness. Without hesitation, envision the great contribution you could make once you embrace Insight (also in braille) as the theme for uniting humanity. You may be utilized to galvanize the feelings, thoughts, attitudes, and emotions of the worlds population as the focal point, and support, to unite the Nations of the world. There was turmoil and lack of understanding from pressures of my personal circumstances and existence, and I needed answers. I was only ten years old at the time with a heavy heart, without knowledge, wisdom and understanding. Down on my knees, I went to God demanding comfort and answers for my genuine and sincere prayers to Him expecting with assurance knowing and believing that He would send me a Comforter and give me peace. Then I asked God, Why me? Why am I put in this situation and predicament that I have no control over? It dawned on me, since I am in this predicament and circumstance, then why not me. Throughout my life it has been my experience to have meaning and acceptance of the knowledge gained for my mission at hand. My praying Grandmother played a significant role in instilling direction and guidance where I should go and whom to rely on. I asked God to teach me in the Name of Jesus, what I needed to know so that He could use me to do His will. Instantaneously, the heavy heart and burdens were lifted and in a Vision Of Inspiration, I saw myself standing and speaking to millions of people. Recently, it was revealed to me to tell them that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life: no man comeith to the Father but by me. (John 14:6) As a result of this Vision, I was inspired to write the (copyrighted) Poem, Insight. Edwin M. Boone
