**EIGHT MONTH OLD KITTEN NEEDS A NEW HOME** It has been said that "pets are the victims of whoever owns them," and SAGE is certainly feeling the truth of that statement tonight. SAGE entered the ACC system when her owner was evicted, an event which she could neither predict nor prevent. No matter what happens to the humans in the former household, they will not be given lethal injections for failing to pay the rent; that unfortunate penalty falls to the innocent pets.
