ELVIS THE CAT & GUNKY - PAGE 4 In honour of Elviss visit, they had organised a feast inviting every single friend and relative they knew. Back at Elis and Anns, the night was nearly to end, yet they were unable to fall asleep due to the anxious thoughts about Elvis. While all the guests were relishing with joy honouring Elviss visit, Elvis stepped out heavily with unbearably painful thought of Eli and Ann. He sat upon a wooden seat by the blue lake to get away from the crowd. Unexpectedly, the blue fish came along with a fleet of other fish jumping just like he did before and again started to yell- “Got a secret, got a secret.” This time Elvis was determined to find out what it was that the fish was trying to tell him. “What are you telling fish? “Eli and Ann, Eli and Ann and my name is not fish, my name is Blue Queen.” in the same pattern, he repeated the sentence twice. “What, what did you say?” “You heard what I said, you heard what I said.” “What about Eli and Ann?” “They are sad, they are sad.” Just as he was attempting to tell the rest, Gunky came looking for Elvis. “What are you doing here Elvis? Mother was worried thinking where you had gone suddenly.” The Blue Queen and her friends remained under the water determinedly to ensure that Elvis heard what she had to say. “I am sorry Gunky, I have to go back to my sisters. They might fall ill worrying about me. My heart is aching for them and I have to go and tell them that I am okay.” Gunky looked directly into his eyes adamantly wanting to confess. Tell his long bottled up secret hed been keeping from everyone for years. “I know exactly how you feel Elvis. I am so sorry for taking you away from your dearest family. I do not want you to suffer any longer. I am going through a similar experience even though I pretend to be cheerful.” “Go on, what is your secret?” said Elvis eagerly. “Emily and Marie.” “What about Emily and Marie?” “A few years ago they were my sisters just like Eli and Ann are your sisters.” “So what happened?” “I used to be pretty adventures. I loved to travel and explore the world. One day when I was talking to Blue Queen, she explained about the world, told me that out there, there is a big world which is extremely a dangerous place. Then I asked her if she could help me to travel to that world safely. She said yes and gave me every bit of advise and instruction.” “How does she know all that?” “She is a great magician with great powers. Blue Queen is the queen of our land. Everyone obeys her, respects her and takes her advises very seriously.” “Then what happened?” “She told me where to find food if I felt hungry. But she didnt warn me about those big machines they drive carrying themselves inside it.” “You mean vehicles.” “Yes I suppose. I walked for days. One day I had to cross a large wheat field. Then at the end of it, suddenly I saw this big machine come my way. As I attempted to get out of its way, suddenly a man on two wheels rode over me and crushed my tail. Luckily it was just my tail that was hurt.” “That must have been a bicycle.” “Probably.” “So.” “I was lying in agony with blood all over my crushed tail. All of a sudden two girls came and carried me all the way up to their home.That was my first introduction to Emily and Marie. Their mother was extremely kind. She treated my wounds and took care of me dearly like a good mother. Ever since that day, I lived there like a family member. I was sad about leaving them after all what they had done to me. Today I am still alive because of Emily and Marie. How can I forget that. They were like sister to me until the day their father threw me in the forest. They havent a clue to what happened to me. I know very well that they think I was run over by a car because that is what their father had told them.” “How do you know that?” “Blue Queen told me, she knows what people think and do. No one can keep a secret from her.” “Then what were you doing in their barn?” “Sometimes I go their to watch Emily and Marie from a distance because I am afraid to go in and be caught by their father.” “I suppose he was afraid of getting ill by having you around.” “Yes you are right Elvis, it is not entirely his fault.” Blue Queen lost her patience. She began to jump above the water telling - “Eli and Ann, Eli and Ann.” until they were forced to listen. “What does she mean by Eli and Ann?” asked Elvis with concern. “Blue Queen must sense that Eli and Ann are worried about you.” “Can you please take me back to them Gunky? We can always meet back there, cant we? “How about inviting them over here to visit our land?” “That is a splendid idea, but how? What if their father and mother, they will start worry.” “Very easy, Blue Queen will arrange it without any difficulties.” “Are you sure Gunky?” “Please Elvis, Blue Queen is very thoughtful. She would make sure to organise it most sensibly.” Elviss endearing desire to bring them over to show off the Animal lap land was so intense. Suddenly, hundreds of radiantly glowing butterflies paraded around the lake as if they were on an aeronautical display. Night seemed endless. It was even more beautiful than the day. Elvis couldnt wait to see Ann and Eli. “Gunky, Elvis, come over here if you want to see Ann and Eli.” “What, are they here already?” It was the most astonishing magical act Elvis had ever seen. A large patch of the blue water lake was cleared like crystals to show Ann and Elis in their rooms as if they were sleeping right there. Blue Queen in her most infinite calm manner, sang a beautiful song which made both Elis and Anns soft blue eyes droopy and gradually to sleep. Then she called four massive birds who appeared from where no body could explain. Reeky, Chary, Hearty and Queasy, she called and their abrupt landing shook the grounds. Elvis stuck his eyes on Gunkys back ti blind him out of great fear. They are gentle, never in our history have they harmed anyone as far as I know. said Gunky to settle the fear in Elvis. Bring the two sisters of Elvis with great care to visit our land. Not to worry, Ill be guiding you all the way. They took off like massive aeroplanes. The clear blue water patch enabled them to watch every act like in a cinema. Reeky and Chary gently carried Eli and Hearty and Queasy carried Ann in the same manner. In about half an hour, they came down to the animal land carrying them like two precious flowers through the blues water patch. It took a while for them to open their eyes. Blue queen requested Elvis to meow like he always did to wake them softly. Meow, meow. said Elvis sitting beside them. Ann slowly opened her eyes. Elvis, Elvis, oh my dear sweet Elvis. Really, oh baby, you have come back, I have been looking everywhere for you. Where were you. said Eli having the faintest idea that they were in the animal lap land. Elvis began to stroke both his sisters like he did usually. Do youll want to meet my friends? Elvis asked. Your friends? I never knew you had friends. said Eli and both Ann and Eli woke up to the surprising news. This is Gunky, this is Blue Queen, ah, where are the birds? They had to rush to do another job somewhere. said Gunky. Oh my, where are we, what is this place? How did we get here Elvis? Both the sisters felt strange. The bizarre but complacent surrounding confused them. Where is home and mother and father Elvis? Where have they brought us? Please do not worry my sisters, I will explain everything. What, how come you can talk Elvis? Since when did you know how to talk? They were getting skeptical whether or not it is their really cat Elvis or is it some sort of a trick. Blue Queen knew that she had to do something fast before they lost their sense. Before something really went wrong. She casted a spell to calm them and forget their past which she normally does not like to do unless it is seriously needed. All of a sudden Gunky felt home sick for Emily and Marie. He walked away by himself feeling sorry for himself and sat miserably as he was missing his dear sisters. At once, the Blue Queen realised his situation. Secretly she ordered the four birds to do the same. Bring Emily and Marie to the Animal Lap Land in their sleep. Then she discretely revealed the secret only just to Elvis calling him to aside. Elvis who had learnt so much in the short period knew exactly how he should react. He convinced Eli and Ann to come along to meet their friends without mentioning their names. Along the way, both sisters walked speechlessly gazing at their left and right of the bewitching scenes of the magical land. Hi Emily, hi Marie, when did you get here? spoke both Eli and Ann at once in an impatiently manner. Dont know Eli, it is very strange. Blue Queen had made sure to cast the spell as soon as Emily and Marie arrived in the land to avoid any haphazards. Why dont you take them on a fantasy ride. said The Blue Queen to Gunky. Instantly within a second, a dazzlingly beautiful boat arrived before them. A smart black jaguar was the navigator. He resembled like a maharaja in his glittery red uniform with white shiny glows. By an instant magic spell, the four girls got dressed in charmingly beautiful long gowns, elegant hats and while silky glows. Their embellish beauty arose to the beautiful sunshine and everyone in the land came to watch them as if they were royals. Hi, I am Galo, your navigator, welcome to our Animal lap land. I am Gunky and this is Elvis my friend. But the girls could utter not a word out of astonishment except for nodding their heads. Their eyes remained hypnotically glued on the amazements of the fantasy land. While crossing the territory of the frog land, the frogs rose upon their arrival in order to wave at the gorgeous young ladies with great dignity. The pretty birds, monkeys and squirrels gave them plenty of delicious fresh fruits to eat on their way. On the way, Elvis told them the whole story how it all started. How he met Gunky and why did he decide to bring them to the Animal Lap Land. Once the journey ended, Galo brought them back and handed them over to Blue Queen safely. Just as when they were about to say good bye, the girls asked if they could stay a few more days. The Blue Queen kindly accepted their request and had to do another spell on their parents to make them temporarily forget their girls until they returned home. Their most enchanting adventure kept them all happily ever after. The Blue Queen cured Mr. Reignier by one of her kind magic spells.
