EMERGENCY BOARD MEETING about the future of this program this Tuesday at 2 pm. three of the members of the Board chose to suspend indefinitely based on the statement that the paperwork approving the funds for it were not approved in time (despite clear evidence to the contrary). As much as we need programs for our youth (particularly Black male), we need as many people there as possible to articulate their support or concerns to the Board concerning this issue. I know 2 pm is not a good time to have a meeting (considering peoples work schedules) but this is the time Ms. Funderburke-Ivey has set it for and we MUST have strong attendance to how where we stand!
