EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Company Overview: Forward Air Corporation is a leading provider of time-definite surface transportation and related logistics services to the North American air freight and expedited LTL market. We provide scheduled surface transportation of cargo as a cost effective, reliable alternative to air transportation. We transport air freight that must be delivered at a specific time, but is less time-sensitive than traditional integrated services. Position: Customer Service Representative Location: DFW – Irving, TX Job Description: Due to continued growth and expansion, Forward Air, Inc. is seeking self-motivated individuals to work as a Customer Service Representative. Duties include various customer service duties such as tracking and tracing shipments. This position will be an evening position; Tuesday – Friday 8:00pm – 6:00am Core Responsibilities & Duties: • Responsible for billing and auditing of freight bills • Previous transportation office experience is a plus. • Must have customer service experience • Responsible for data entry of Outbound & Inbound Shipments • Responsible for quotes • Tracking and Tracing shipments to provide customer accurate info via email and telephone • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment • Must be open to schedule change Qualifications: • Self-motivated problem-solver with strong desire to meet customers’ needs • Excellent communication skills • Operational knowledge for decision making • Must have proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel • Experience with AS400 software a plus • Positive attitude • Must be able to work independently • Excellent organizational skills • Must submit to pre-employment background check and drug screening Thank you, Yolanda Taylor, PHR Human Resource Manager 3800 Cabell Drive Irving, Texas 75063 Office: 214-524-2962 mailto:YTaylor@forwardair
