ETHIOPIA UPDATE: Dear Family & Friends, We had an extraordinary day in the village of Yedonga today! We had met 10 families yesterday and witnessed 10 individuals pray to receive Christ. We had told them that we would return today and they could invite friends or family to hear the gospel and that we would share more Bible stories. They were all so excited to see us! They had invited many family members & friends to hear. We had a group of 20+ people hear the gospel today under the shade cover of some trees on the side of their hut. Again today, we had such an enthusiastic response. There were 12 professions of faith today - Praise God! I will tell you that the most precious group of men & woman joined the family of God in these homes yesterday & today. I cant wait for you to someday meet them whether thats here on earth or in heaven. The meeting today was such a spiritual high, you could sense the Spirit moving throughout our time together. At times, I was fighting back tears, their joy and excitement to know God and learn more about Him is so humbling. The Good News had truly changed their lives - we were witnessing it right before our very eyes. Takele (man of the house we were visiting) told us that he had never seen love like we had shown him and his family, and he had never heard about Jesus wanting a personal relationship with him. As we shared Bible stories again today, he was so excited to repeat them back to us so that he would be able to re-tell the stories to his friends. We were so excited to learn that Takele has invited our Disciple Maker to start a Bible Study in his home. Takele and two others in particular will most likely lead many to Christ. They had such a passion to reach everyone in their village. It was such a blessing to share this amazing day with Jeremy! We were both forever changed by meeting them. Thank for your prayers! They continue to be answered beyond what we could have ever hoped or imagined. God is so faithful! It truly is the greatest joy & privilege to serve God here in this unreached part of the world. I could do this all day, every day for the rest of my life! This continues to be the greatest spiritual experience of my life. So grateful to God for this opportunity! Please pray for the 21+ million people here in the Amhara region of Ethiopia who do not yet know Jesus as their Savior. -Andrea
