EVERYTHING IS FINE DO NOT WORRY! WE ARE STOPPING FOR A WHILE! Many of you will know that Dave started “Epicier Normand” having changed jobs, following the discovery of a brain malformation about 4 years ago. Apart from his love of food another driver for the change was to enable him to carry on working but be more in control of things affecting his condition. With great products and the support of so many friends and loyal customers the ”epicier” is in great shape as a business and doing rather too well!. We do however need to take more care of Dave’s brain .. as Dave says “there are a few things more important than cheese… this is one of them. So what to do??? .. Well we are taking a good break from trading to redesign the whole thing , to get the balance right, to give more time for Dave’s brain. Hard decision? You bet. Bad for business? Probably. Good for the “epicier’s brain”? Certainly. Any real choice? No. We will have seen many of you personally, but if we have not we do apologise. So many of you, so kind, so enthusiastic, so inspiring and so… well… nice! For those with particular product cravings, please get in touch, we may have some stock that we could deliver at a secret rendezvous (Costa coffee ... Sevenoaks). We will be around, Dave is just fine and the “epicier” will enjoy his quiet rejuvenation in the Normandy countryside. The web site will be suspended in a month or so but the Facebook site continue … with food, log, aperitif related photos and the like..and perhaps some more recipes … “143 ways to cook with Camembert”?
