EX KOGI COMMISSIONER, SON DIED IN AUTO CRASH The immediate past Commissioner for Education in Kogi State, Mrs. Grace Elebiyo, died in a car crash along Kabba-Okene road on Tuesday. We gathered that her son, Olu, who was rushed to the hospital after the incident died today, Wednesday The late commissioner before the accident participated in Governor Idris Wada’s ongoing “thank you” tour of Kabba/ Bunu .local government. Late Elebiyo, we gathered, was persuaded to spend the night in Kabba and she agreed but changed her mind and embarked on the ill-fated trip. The accident was reportedly caused by over speeding on the part of the driver who happened to be the late commissioner’s son. According to sources, Governor Wada who was returning from the same function saw the accident and stopped to render assistance by directing the ambulance in his convoy to take the former commissioner and her son to the hospital. But she died before getting to the hospital.
