EXACTLY!! I always give what I can and try to show not just the homeless but everyone that I care, that it breaks my heart to see anyone suffer and if I can make even the slightest difference then without a doubt or second thought, I will. Being in Toronto and seeing the homeless and seeing how people just walk by like they dont exist, I cant do that, I just simply cant, just because someone is struggling doesnt mean they arent human, theyre not monsters, they need love and care just like anyone else and maybe even a little more than the average person. Its not gonna kill you to show you care, you can waste money on stupid things youll only use once, and you have a warm bed, a roof over your head, food in the kitchen and maybe even someone at home waiting to love you. These ppl have nothing but what they can find in the trash.. Winter is here and so many people are going to die on the freezing cold streets yet again this year, so next time you see a homeless person on the street maybe you could give them a coffee or hot chocolate or soup or even a couple dollars, you could save a life that day, you just never know, its the season to give, be compassionate, and its time to make a difference! Please share, please be aware, please be kind, be generous, and show the world humanity does exist.
