EXTERNAL RIGHTEOUSNESS : Different righteousness exist and they are not all the same but let us take a look at external righteousness . Mathew 5:20 For I say unto you ,that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees,ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. The righteousness of the scribe and pharisee is self righteousness,righteousness by self-effort ,external righteousness which is void of right or godly motive.it falls short of true righteousness coming forth out of cleansed heart and pure motives. A lot of people are in the streets, churches, also in the offices claiming to be a righteous man and woman through their outward appearance ,people who see them regard them as believers meanwhile they are deceivers or pretenders.because a woman did not put on earring , she did not putting on crazy hairstyle or waring high hill shoes does not mean you are a righteous woman :a man who does not dress like area boys ,men who is putting on shoot and appeared like a gentle man does not mean you are righteous man ,.. when you see people both young and old man,you portrait before them in order to show some respect,that does not mean you are righteous ...you might be feeding the poor, given out all the substance in your house to the stranger or for the things of GOD out of eyes service , all those things are not qualify you to be a righteous man and woman . Ofcourse Christ living in us and through us ,gives us the grace and the power to live righteously in this present world .This righteousness received by grace through faith is the perfect and true righteousness A true righteous man is that man and woman after you have been forgiven of all your sins and you have been cleansed and purify,all God expect of you is to receive the righteousness by faith, live soberly,follow peace with all men, rejoicing in the holy ghost regardless of your situation ,to love God whole heatedly not with eyes services like men pleases ,and keep all his commandment .when you acquired all these attribute ,then you should teach men to do likewise ...... You are a man who know the truth ,but follow after lies and teaching people to forsake the truth and follow after things that are profitable , that kind of man is not a righteous man .............going to church from Monday to Sunday every week is not the qualification to become righteous man and woman, paying tithe and offering of all your possession with hypocritical heart its foolish ways of serving God . Rich men and women after they duped ,scammed and robbed government,private company even the poor of their belonging , many of them come to the house of God as innocent men and women,how hard will it be for them to enter into the kingdom of heaven? pastor give out high seat in the church to the rich people who have already committed atrocity in the world before they come and no restitution has been made ,they filled the temple of God with mixed multitude ....... What is my message to you: holiness ,faithfulness and righteousness walk together without which no man will see the face of God , to man it may be difficult to live a pure life but with the help and grace of God all things are possible,...... God is calling you to repentance this morning , consider your ways and live a righteous life ,the biggest mistake you can make is to compare your life with other people , whatever people does never join them but rather separate yourself from the rest because the day is draw near.
