Each alternate week in Wing Tsun - Blanchardstown we do padwork. The focus this week is not the person hitting the pads but the person holding the pads. We are doing exercises to encourage the pad holder to feed out the pads as their partner practises punches and elbow strikes without having to hold back. One of the main benefits of doing padwork is that it trains your stability which is crucial for powerful striking.
