Eaoin is starting to get frustrated that he can think more complicated thoughts than he can express. It is a step on his path to speaking. I love being able to see him move toward stronger forms of communication. And I am encouraged to imagine that we can continue to collectively develop stronger media through which to express our thoughts. When I think about the catalyzing nature of frustration, I think about art. We create art in response to our desire for a greater depth of communication. By striving to capture the abstractions we experience, what beauty may we unlock? Why did we develop such a propensity for abstract construction that far supersedes systematization?
