Earlier this morning the Good Lord called our Abbey from this earth. Diane, Rebecca, Thomas and I are deeply saddened and are in need of prayers. Abbey was just 18 years old and on her way to St. Joes in a few short weeks. Abbey was a deeply spiritual young lady and extremely fun to be around. Her smile was infectious and she cared and loved all those around her. As news flies through the channels of social media, we just want to say thank you to all who have posted, texted, called and visited us so far. Details of Abbeys services will be forthcoming. If you are reading this and have children, please pull them aside, hug them and tell them you love them. Both Diane and I were fortunate in that realm as we hung out with her last night, rubbed her and told her both that we were proud of her and that we loved her dearly, just prior to her going to bed. God brought her home shortly thereafter.
