Earlier today I was given a powerful reminder about living your principles and practicing what you preach. While I cannot share the event because it involve another person what I learned was the importance of being mindful of your Inner Landscape. What I mean by this is that your outer experience mirrors your inner world. When you are at peace and feeling joyful you will experience things around you that reflect this inner world. If you are anxious or internally focusing on lack or what you dont want then things around you will align to support this focus. As I am working on my manuals at the moment for the Science of Manifestation workshop in August these principles at foremost in my mind. The event today highlighted the need to be mindful of your inner world because at any moment (in this instance a meeting) if you notice that you are holding a focus on what you dont want (like a negative outcome of a meeting with a possible reprimand) then change your thinking and your emotional state. The person today did exactly that and a miracle happen. The meeting changed to a more supportive, productive meeting resulting in positive change(- a promotion of sorts). How do you do this? Well in this instance the person immediately began focusing on what she could be grateful for in the meeting and purposefully viewed the people in the meeting as there to support and provide her with positive direction. She noticed that by changing her focus her anxiety levels immediately diminished (supported by some subtle tapping or EFT) and positive comments stood out. The result - a change in role, inclusion of more exciting projects, and a positive acknowledgment of work done. I have been teaching her the principles from my manifestation workshop so she was able to easily switch focus, changing the outcome.
