Earlier today, a post was placed on a Facebook page insinuating I was rude because, as the Secretary of a cat club I asked for another clubs assistance with loaning some cat litter product they did not require immediately due to a cancelled. This is the post I replied to: So much for cat clubs being nice and cooperative (one o was missing Facebook corrected). As I said before its (no apostrophe) nice to ask. Now there will be no cooperation. Just plain rude. Di Fry asked: what the hell is going on now? Anne Sherwood: Ask John. Wendy Nelson: What has happened Cat Sherwood Ah well, have a drink and love your cats. I then wrote the following response which I couldnt post as Anne had taken down her post so I am putting it in writing here for anyone to see who wants the whole story. ME: Well folks, it seems that you want to know so here is my Right Of Reply. Well folks, it seems that you all want to know why Anne thinks I am rude. May I state here that LABCC has not got an official Secretary and after some consultation on Lesleys and my part, we thought that as TSFF did not have a show next week and had a supply of Fibrecycle on hand and as Alyssa had informed me they were not able to supply product for the LABCC show in March, we thought, in the spirit of COOPERATION, that TSFF would be willing to assist by loaning the product not used at their cancelled show for LABCC. We were only thinking of our exhibitors, who will only be receiving rosettes for both rings and NO PORODUCT. Surely in the spirit of COOPERATION this request was nott, as Anne has stated RUDE. In the past Cat Fanciers had Fibrecycle taken for a CAT chow which was instigated by Anne and one other. This was never replaced and CFCT had to spread one shows worth of product over two shows. The reason this REQUEST, and why Alyssa was linked into is that, if the problem was not resolved with this REQUEST then LABCC, so exhibitors would not be disappointed, will have in a very short time to seek other sponsorship. My only concern was for the EXHIBITORS and as I wont be one this year, Im buggered if I know why I am bothering to look after an ungrateful few uncooperative people. It seams no matter what you do someone will always give you stick. Thank God my back is broad.
