Early Morning Pondering - EMP: December 17, 2014 ... :) :) :) ... Beloved, every time we hear the Voice of the LORD, and we willingly choose to allow the commandments of men, that is, words of family, colleagues, childhood friends, classmates, associates, business partners, face-book acquaintances [as applies to some, lol, :) ] or the traditions of man, to overrule, invalidate, prevail over or super-cede Gods Words He has spoken unto us, then we are acting in disobedience. Please, note the word - disobedience. To walk in disobedience, is to invite doom. The Voice of God spoken unto us, is for us to obey (keep) and walk in His Will. The Will of God is the Word of God. The commandments of men or words that are not foundered on the truth of Gods Word, are not of the LORD, certainly of no good to us and will invite doom or destruction of destiny. And the LORD is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance [2 PETER 3:9]. The traditions of man waters down the truth of Gods Word, and as the Scripture puts it, making the Word of God of none effect [ MARK 7:13]. Indeed, this brings nothing but distractions and doom. Take heed, no advice is greater than the Word of the LORD. A change can only take place through a renewed mind by Gods Word [ROMANS 12:2]. Therefore, beloved, whenever we find ourselves on crossroads concerning any matter, we should first and always find out what the Word of God says, because that which the Word of God says concerning the matter, is the Will of God for us. Better still and most importantly, when we seek the LORD in prayer, He speaks and we hear Him loud and crystal clear; and He directs us in the way we should go. It is the Will of God that we obey His Voice and walk therein, so that we do not perish. To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.
