Ecilpse the afternoon...Johonaa;ei Daatsaah haninigii the dying sun....grandma BATES teaching....dontt look at it with your eye, your going to go blind, and sit still, no eating, no sleeping or drinking...sing the holy songs and protection prayers, when it passes, you would make an offering towards it and pray, sprinkle of the corn pollen or the grounded corn, yellow or blue corn.....so some life goes on who cares, life goes on...the old folks are all gone now...glad that i had a good teacher my mom..grandma bates...just something i thought i share..back in the days...
