Edmonton hasnt seen a playoff game since watching us raise the cup in 06. The Islanders havent won a playoff series since the early 90s and the Maple Leafs and Flames havent win a playoff series since 2004, and as for Stanley Cups just being expected or else we bail.....46 seasons for the Leafs, 43 for the Blues and 20 for Montreal. All in all, we may have to grit out a few tough seasons, but we are actually on the edge of spoiled when you look at where weve been in such a short period of time. Its a new coach, a new season, new management..... Give time to see what can happen before the panic button gets pushed. Keep in mind we are missing two big pieces unexpectedly in Staal and Skinner. No, were not a Stanley Cup favorite, but this team may surprise some of you once they get some time in the ice. GO CANES!!!!
