The Poetry Society is the UK’s leading poetry organisation. We are seeking a full-time Education Manager to work on a number of ambitious national projects from our Covent Garden offices. You will be working with an experienced and committed team developing new programmes, and acclaimed projects such as SLAMbassadors UK, Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award and National Poetry Day Live. You will have at least 4 years experience of managing major participation and learning projects within the arts; have a proven track-record raising funds and writing project reports; and enjoy working to deadlines in an energetic creative environment. The role will require excellent writing skills; confidence organising live events and developing digital projects; a demonstrable enthusiasm for literature and working with young people; fundraising skills; experience managing budgets and ability to manage a team.
