Eid ul adha is one of the major festivals of the Muslim community. It means “festival of sacrifice” and takes place at the end of Hajj. It is celebrated not only in Saudi Arabia, but also in all the places where Muslims stay. It falls on the 10th day of the month “Zilhajja” and lasts till the 13th before 12:00 in the noon. According to the English calendar, this festival will take place on the 6 of oct this year. It is celebrated to mark the obedience that the prophet Ibrahim had in the eyes of Allah. The prophet has a dream in which he saw that he was sacrificing his son Ismail in the name of Allah.On telling his son about the dream, Ismail replied that I am ready and you may do the will of Allah my father. When Ibrahim with a full heart was about to sacrifice his son , he was stopped by the Satan and had to change three different places, before he finally made up his heart and mind to do the needful. The angel Gabraeil (Jibrail) kept in his place a sheep and since that day Muslims from all over sacrifice the same. Eid mubarak my all friendssssss
