Ek gaan hierdie maar in Engels doen in die hoop dat iemand wat kan help, dit dalk sal raaksien! TELKOM .... HELP !!!! I have been a Telkom client for the past 30 years. Everything went just fine until 9 years ago when we moved to a new house. I transferred my landline and then .... for 2 years I struggled to get my telephone re-connected!!! First this and then that, but no telephone line! Eventually Telkom told me that the developer of the area did not consult with them before the development started and therefor there were no cabling done for telephones and they never will put in cables! Then, eventually, Telkom came and put a sort of a receiver box on a pole to enable me to phone. (In the meantime, I could also not make use of a cellphone, as there was no signal and Vodacom has problems erecting a new tower - fortunately they made plans and tried their very best to accommodate me!). I applied at Telkom for an ADSL line to enable me to work after hours. Sorry, cant do, because your box is on the pole !!! Then, last year my telephone started giving problems - nobody can call me! Telkom replaced the box, it worked for a day or two, nothing again. I reported the problem to Telkom on 3 December 2013. It is 14 March 2014 now and still nobody can call me !!!!!! I think I can use the expression now! WTF TELKOM ????????????????????????
