Elementary Announcements: Week of December 8, 2014 Sounds of Christmas – December 11: Bring your family and friends as our students share the true meaning of Christmas on Thursday, December 11, 6:30pm in our Main Sanctuary. Please refer to your child’s Teacher Monday Letter for more information. We look forward to celebrating the birth of Christ with all of you. End of the Grading Period-Progress Reports – December 12: Remember, you can daily check your student’s progress by logging on to your parent portal. December 19: ½ Day / Birthday Celebrations for the Months of October, November and December: Each class will also have their classroom Christmas parties at the same time. Students may wear Christmas colored shirts with jeans this day. Siblings may not attend the celebrations. Enjoy your time with your student. Students will be dismissed at 12:00pm. Daycare is available up to 3:30. After this time, regular Daycare fees will apply. Operation Toasty Christmas: CCCS is working alongside the Dept. of Children and Family Services to bless underprivileged children in our community. We are asking for our families to donate a new children’s jacket or a new blanket anytime between now and December 19. Jackets will be distributed to eligible children at an exciting event CCD will be hosting on Saturday, December 20. “Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather healed.” Hebrews 12:12-13 NKJV 12/22-1/4: Christmas Break-Daycare Available- December 22 – January 4. There is no school. Daycare will be available on the following dates: Week 1: 22, 23, 26 Week 2: 29, 30, 31 Daycare hours will be from 7:00am to 5:30pm (late charges still apply). The cost is $25.00 per day for the 1st child and $15.00 per day for the 2nd Please sign your child up in the Elementary or Daycare Office by Friday, December 20. School will resume on Monday, January 5.
