Eli Soriano (of Ang Dating Daan - MCGI) found fault in the Ten Commandments..indirectly hes preaching that God should be blamed since He made a set of faulty laws. Indeed, Satan is laughing out loud with Sorianos teaching. But the Bible is clear that it was the AGREEMENT-covenant that was found to be faulty and not the Ten Commandments. Hebrew 8:7 For if that FIRST AGREEMENT had been as good as possible, there would have been no place for a second. BBE The first AGREEMENT-covenant was faulty because THE PEOPLE did not fulfill their promise. So God found fault in the people...again NOT the Ten Commandments. With this, one cannot put the blame to God since people have their own freedom to choose. Its their choice, not Gods. But with Eli Sorianos twisted interpretation of it, one can surely put the blame to God since Hes the One who made a flawed set of laws (according to him). A law does not have the capability to choose or decide. Hebrews 8:8-9 For finding fault with THEM, ....because THEY continued not in my covenant, and I regarded THEM not, saith the Lord. Again, we can see here a fulfillment of a statement in Psalm 139:20: They speak against you with malicious intent; your enemies take your name in vain. By putting Gods name or Christs name in their churchs proper name and claiming they are Gods true church and yet PREACHING that God is a maker of faulty laws is surely a mockery of Gods name. To whom will you put your trust: Eli Soriano or God?
