From Monday, the CRS website will have: new web information on the new lane filtering law our new lane filtering animation which shows what lane filtering is, explains the new laws, and gives tips on how it can be done safely, and updated FAQs. The website being publicised will be lanefiltering.nsw.gov.au, but this will basically will direct everyone to our lane filtering page. When this goes live, wed love for the Motorcycle Council to publicise this far and wide (social media; motorcycle mags; etc), so as many people find out about this as possible. The new law will also be published on Monday - as soon as that happens, we will have a direct link to it from the our website. Our media plan also kicks off Monday, and will run for at least a couple of months. The campaign will raise awareness of the new law, and emphasise safety messages. The media plan includes: · Metro and regional AM and FM radio ads · Online ads in targeted websites, linking to our animation etc · Taxi-backs · Mainstream newspapers. We will also be notifying all our stakeholders, including your good self and the rest of the motorcycle crew; insurance companies; etc. If you have any questions, feel free to drop me a line.
