Email from a Hugs for Brady Coordinator about volunteering- Good morning! Sherrie Wells asked that I reach out to you to see if you might be interested in helping out with some event Hugs for Brady is sponsoring over the next few weeks. After making a few calls, I realized it might be easier to email you the information, and then follow-up with a phone call. August 3, 2013 Blood Drive @ Confectionately Yours, 3391 Route 27, Franklin Park, from 8;30 – noon. We need one more person to welcome donors, hand out literature, and share the Hugs for Brady story. Yankee Flyers Dog & Disc Dog Show, Mercer County Park: 9:30 -12:30 – we need people two people to hand out information and share the Hugs for Brady story. Volunteers will need to pick up tables/chairs/tents & promotional materials in Kendall Park beforehand. 12:30 – 3:30 – we need two people to hand out information and share the Hugs for Brady story. Volunteers will need to drop-off tables/chairs/tents & promotional materials in Kendall Park afterward. August 4 Yankee Flyers Dog & Disc Dog Show, Mercer County Park: 9:30 -2:30 – we need people two people to hand out information and share the Hugs for Brady story. Volunteers will need to pick up tables/chairs/tents & promotional materials in Kendall Park beforehand and drop them off afterward. August 6 National Night Out, West Windsor Municipal Building -- 4:30 – 10:30 pm – we need four people to hand out information and share the Hugs for Brady story. Volunteers will need to pick up tables/chairs/tents & promotional materials in Kendall Park beforehand and drop them off afterward. Winter Gala Committee The Winter Gala will take place on February 8, 2014 at The Palace in Somerset. We are planning for the event now, and are looking for 40 (!) volunteers to help raise money through sponsorships, ticket sales, 50/50 and the Silent Auction. Our first committee meeting will take place on July 21 from 1:00 – 4:00 at Confectionately Yours, 3391 Route 27, Franklin. If you are interested, please give me a call. Thanks, Lauretta A.
