Ember had a great time today trying out a new dock diving game called Air Retrieve. The bumper is suspended 4 higher than the dock (so 6 over the water) and it starts at 6 out from the dock. After a few practice throws with Ember, she started with the bumper out at 12 and we worked up to her getting a few good solid grabs at 13 before she got a bit too tired to make the 13 again. She goes all out and it takes a lot of muscle energy so the dogs get tired pretty quickly. Thanks Deb Spinato and Peak Performance K9 Sports for bringing this game in and working with us today. Were looking forward to the event in a couple of weeks. Here is a video of our practice today.
