Emergency officials have evacuated employees and customers from the Sears Automotive center at the Moorestown Mall as well as several stores in the adjacent East Gate Square shopping center. The gas line rupture was reported at 8:29 a.m. near the automotive center, according to a Burlington County Central Communications supervisor. The evacuations occurred at the Old Navy store and several others on Nixon Drive in the shopping center. The Moorestown Mall remains open, but customers are being restricted from leaving the south side of the building.
