Emma Watson gives a very well considered and heartfelt speech about gender equality. Her call for men to join women in their efforts to gain respect and equal footing in the workplace and elsewhere is very nicely articulated. It is so good to see the future of feminism looking like this. Men, pay attention. As Ms Watson says, your freedom from gender stereotyping is at stake as well. Quote: We don’t often talk about men being imprisoned by gender stereotypes but I can see that that they are and that when they are free, things will change for women as a natural consequence.
