Encouraged by God article Title: Fully paid off! Romans 3:23-26 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Money as a physical currency can purchase anything on earth but it can never purchase our salvation from sins and redemption from eternal death. Sin is a spiritual crime against God and death is a debt mankind became bound by following the fall of the first man Adam into sin (Genesis 3). Our only means of finding Gods forgiveness from sins and becoming free from our debt to death is by the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus is Gods own approved legal tender and currency for the remission of our sins and redemption of our souls from death (1 Corinthians 6:20). And when we plead the blood of Jesus and surrender our lives to Christ, the power of sin and death is immediately rendered useless. Christ has fully paid off the price for our salvation and redemption by His blood that He shed for us on the cross of Calvary. And when we plead the blood of Jesus upon our lives, the sinful evil principalities taskmasters of death no longer has the legitimacy to hold us bound with their sins and death. 1 Corinthians 15:55-58 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in The Lord.
