Endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier (2 Timothy 2:3-4). - The soldiers of Jesus Christ must prove themselves as good soldiers, faithful to their Captain, resolute to His cause, and not quit fighting until the battle is won. If we have given ourselves to be Christs soldiers, we must not be diverted by the cares of this world and its distractions, but be wholly devoted to His instruction and never drawn aside from our duty.
