Whatever your thoughts are on Bill Mahars rant on Islam the irony that on the 50th Anniversary of the Berkeley Free Speech Movement to demand that Bill Mahar cant speak at Berkeley is laughable. Liberals who demand that people cant speak are the exact same as conservatives who demand that people cant speak. Free speech isnt free if what can be said is only what you want to hear. Close-mindedness from the left is no different than close-mindedness from the right. If you are so weak and intolerant of a person that when someone expresses their opinion rather than taking it as just that, an opinion not bullets, it wounds you somehow then the problem isnt with them its with you. If you dont like their opinions then dont listen to them but not liking someones opinions doesnt give someone the right to expect that they can not express those opinions. Perhaps someone doesnt like your opinions so by this standard you should not speak again too. We all cant say anything because someone isnt going to like what we have to say. Sounds like a brilliant answer to not hearing anything we dont like. Everybody says nothing. Liberals can be just as intolerant as conservatives the only difference is the labels we choose.
