Engineer (End User Computing) (HK$25-35k) Responsibilities: • support the Desktop Computing direction / roadmap to develop and deploy new workplace technologies (especially messaging, collaboration, knowledge management, software/patch distribution) to meet business needs • support regular workplace technology refresh operations • handle support activities and initiatives for the Workplace services, especially Exchange, SharePoint, and Microsoft AD / PC image / Desktop Virtualization / Patch Management • handle customer issues and requests by creating, tracking, and documenting technical solutions • manage deliverables associated with a project by prioritizing, tracking, and completing assigned tasks • work with the cross-functional teams to ensure desktop configuration standards are followed Requirements: • a Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent • minimum 4 years’ relevant working experience in which at least 2 years in project management in a medium to large enterprise • preferred qualifications – MCSE, PMP, ITIL • solid domain knowledge of Microsoft platforms, especially Windows OS, Exchange 2010+, SharePoint 2010+, and SCCM 2007+ • experience in smart phone OS support like Apple iOS & Android – an advantage • excellent interpersonal and influencing skill, able to work well with different levels of internal users and external service providers and suppliers • effective writing skill to document and present technical issues; and prepare project and resolve reports.
