*English version will follow 国際若手デザイナーワークショップ2009 未来スコープ ー 大きく、小さく、見つめる ナゴヤのコレカラ 期間＝2009 年11 月21 日［土］～27 日［金］ 会場＝国際デザインセンター、名古屋市内および近郊 国際若手デザイナーワークショップは、国内外の次世代を担うデザイナー、企業の若手クリエイターや大学の研究者・学生を対象に、多様な文化創造を図る、視野の広いワークショップとして2000 年より開催しています。 今年はより環境に配慮したテーマ「サスティナビリティ」をキーワードに、名古屋における『残したいもの・残すべきもの・伝えたいもの』、都市の持つ潜在的な資産を考察。その資産をどのように有効活用していくのか、モノのデザインにとどまることなく、人を導くためのシステムやプロセスなどのデザインを試みました。参加者はテーマによって５つのグループに分かれ、それぞれのチームでフィールドリサーチを実施。国際デザインフォーラムでは、チームごとに地図・ノベルティグッズ・新聞・映像デザイン・サイン計画の５つの異なった媒体で提案を発表しました。 creative-nagoya.jp/cdcn2009/workshop.html International New Designers Workshop 2009 From Now On — Envisioning Nagoya’s Future on the Large Scale and the Small Period : November 21 – 27, 2009 Venue : International Design Center NAGOYA and Nagoya area Aiming to nurture the next generation, which is courageous in challenging conventions, the International New Designers Workshop encourages cross-disciplinary collaboration amongst academic institutions, industries and the public sector, and each workshop is made up of members from different disciplines, genders and cultural backgrounds. The workshop has been held annually since 2000. “Sustainability”, this year’s keyword, places even more focus on environmental issues. Under this keyword, participants searched for the potential assets of cities and for the “Things that we want to preserve”, “Things that must be preserved”, and “Things to convey” in Nagoya. Considering how to effectively utilize these assets, they tried designing systems and processes that guide and assist humans, in addition to designing solid objects. Participants made five teams and conducted field research from five different perspectives.
