Enjoyed reading Daniel de Silvas new book The English Girl just days after I visited many of the places in his book. Some of the spy activities took place in Astoria hotel in st Petersburg where we stayed but they were on 3rd floor and we were on 7th. Then the Moscow activities took place in buildings I had visited the day before. And the Jerusalem sites are all very familiar to me. I love his Gabriel Allon series anyway but that just makes it even more fun.
