Errens journey so far.. My daughter erren is 9yrs old and was diagnosed with epilepsy when she was 9months! The first dr we saw didnt believe me at first until he saw with his own eyes!! An erren started on epilim which at the time did not seem to help. When erren was 3yrs old they tried tegratol which gave her 60 seizures in a day :( I demanded we tried the epilim again as I didnt feel she was given long enough to have it have an effect the time before...which they did (after lots of kicking an screaming mind) erren has been on epilim for 6 years strait now an has gone from 15/30 in one day to 2/3 a week every other week or so at night mainly which is Great compared! But now I need more for her..she wants to know why, how and if its forever :,( its heatbreaking but I am determined I will get her the answers and raise awareness for epilepsy as so many are in the dark!
