Establish a daily routine. Sit down and breath and listen to your breath. Do a sunsalutation or two. Meditate. Do yoga. That will set you up for the day and for life. Yoga is a preparation for life. Yoga helps us to handle what ever comes, joy and pain, happiness and sorrow. I love all kinds of yoga. Started out like a full on Ashtangi but then life has led me to calmer forms of yoga.
