Even if Walt has OT and speech 1 hr a day for each, 5 days a week, that is only 3% of his time. It has been proven that stroke recovery at home with the right tools can be so much better for the stroke patient. I have been researching different methods of home rehab for him. What I am finding out, most patients who stay in long term facilities succumb to depression and dont get the required amount of therapy needed. Home therapy has had the most success. This makes me even more determined to bring him home. So what I need to know, is who of Walts many friends are willing to help me get this done. I need advice and people willing to help me provide care if needed. I want to help my husband be the best he can be. Its going to take more than me to accomplish this.
