Even though most people wont read this, Im glad that Xbox has some great support. Definitely just upped my loyalty to their console by providing a courteous customer rep, and quickly resolving my problem. Justin: Im trying to sign in to my xbox live account on my xbox one, but I keep getting this message: Check your home network. Theres a problem connecting to the sign-in service. If you recently changed your network settings, you may need to restore your network to the default settings. I have my network set to the default settings though, and havent changed them. I just want to make sure this isnt my internet connection, as I have noticed on the Xbox sight that Live services are having some difficulty. Hailey: Hello! Thank you for contacting Xbox Customer Support. My name is Hailey. Please give me a moment to review your concern. I apologize for the wait. Hi there, Justin. How are you doing? Hailey: Hi Justin, I understand that you are not able to sign in to your account using your Xbox One console, right? Justin: That is correct Hailey: I apologize for this inconvenience, Justin. No worries, you got me now, rest assured we will work hand in hand to get to the bottom of this. Hailey: Actually, this is a global issue in relation with the newly released game Titanfall. Hailey: But let us go ahead and try this recommended steps to see if this will work. Hailey: Are you ready? Justin: Sure Hailey: Great! Hailey: Can you do this for me? Hailey: Please press and hold the power button of your Xbox for 5-10 seconds? Hailey: Once its off, please remove all cables from the console and allow 1 minute before putting them back and then turn on the console. Hailey: Can you please try to sign back in to your account? Justin: I knew the system was having troubles due to the release of Titanfall, but I am clicking add new profile and getting an error message. Would that still be possible? Hailey: It is, Justin. Hailey: All sign in issues are affected including adding or downloading a profile, Justin. Hailey: I am so sorry for this inconvenience. Hailey: All platforms for xbox were affected. You are not alone, Everyone, including my colleague is experiencing the same problem. Justin: Ok, I just wanted to make sure it wasnt my internet, because of the error message I got. The wording makes it seem like its my end, and not the live service. Hailey: I apologize for any inconveniences that this has caused you, Justin. Hailey: Dont worry, the reason for that is there is an on going live update over the website/system in console that affects the global system in getting to live. Hailey: But no worries, after a couple of hours it should all be working fine as our IT and Engineering Team are working on it already. Justin: Thats great news. I guess I will go back and use my 360 for the rest of the day while everything gets sorted out on the one, and try again tomorrow. Hailey: Wow! Hailey: I am so grateful that I got you, Justin.
