Even though the questions some of the kids are asked about the two dolls already state that there is a difference between them, the statements those kids make are alarming and show us that something is going wrong in the world we live in. Though a big part of our society speaks out for and generally stands behind the idea of equality there are still (subtile) thought patterns, stereotypes and patterns of interaction that are reproduced constantly in our society. Most parents try to teach their children to be fair and nice - but apparently we dont think about how deep the patterns of unfairness and inequality are implemented into our world. It takes more than saying we are all equals to truly become equal.
