Ever heard of the term super setting however have no idea what it means? Super setting differs from a typical set in a few different ways...let me explain. 1) Supersets work under very little rest between sets (where in a normal program of sets you may rest for an extended period in between each one). 2) Supersets combine two different exercises. By definition, a superset is putting two exercises together, performing them one after the other, with little to no rest. If you are looking to increase strength, Supersets may not get you there. This is simply because the amount of load is decreased given you are performing two exercises together with little rest, which causes increased fatigue. Supersets however CAN be a good tool for increasing intensity, and overall overload of the muscles worked.
