Ever noticed the picture of the Sacred Heart if Jesus? What did you see, for every religious picture tells a story or a parable or a moral? .Notice the heart ON Fire, It is Gods love for us. Around the heart is a ring of thorns, the wounds we inflict on God who is love. The heart is scarred & bleeding, the pain & anguish experienced by God by our hurting him. The flames are soaring high, even though the pain is intense. The pain of the heart BREAKS a man & MAKES him a wreck. Jesus IS a battle-scarred veteran, our heart is nothing compared with his. We can become veterans too, and live to tell the story of each scar. Only a Veteran survives!
