Ever since our daughter’s diagnosis, I’ve had one passage of scripture echoing inside my head. It’s the story and the statement of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. In Daniel chapter 3 they declare, “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majestys hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up. As a family we declare a similar statement, “If we are thrown into the cavern of inoperable cancer, we believe the God we serve is ABLE to heal our beautiful baby Magnolia, and he will heal her from her sickness (either in this life or in eternity). But even if he CHOOSES not to heal her on earth, we will still serve him. Come what may, we place our trust in Jesus. THANK YOU so much for all your prayers. We’ve been beyond blessed by the flood of love towards our family. All we ask is that you continue to believe with us, as we prepare for the odds and pray for a miracle.
