Ever wanted to know how the media invents a narrative? Here is a perfect case. Last month Penelope Cruz and her husband signed a letter about Israel. Now the report of a secret meeting in Hollywood (classic elders of Zion trope), claims they are blacklisted. How can there be any evidence of a blacklist when whatever projects she was working on are no doubt still on, since movies take years to shoot and prepare for and cast. Whatever future projects she might be preparing for, the only way to know if there is a blacklist, even a secret one for which the evidence if absence of evidence, is by waiting to see if she doesnt get any more roles in Hollywood. In fact this story feeds a classic anti-semitic theory, that Jews control Hollywood. But if goes further and assumes these Jews are all pro-Israel, which many are not.
