Ever watched Rakugo?? No? Nows your chance! The Japan-America Society of Osaka would like to invite 30 JETs to attend a cultural exchange program on 20th Sep - Eigo de Rakugo! In a Rakugo performance, a storyteller uses a paper fan and a small cloth as props, and without standing up from the seiza sitting position, depicts a comical story. The story always involves the dialogue of two or more characters, the difference between the characters depicted only through change in pitch, tone, and a slight turn of the head.
