Ever wondered what kind of a face shape you have and what styles may be appropriate for your specific face shape? Well, your face shape is one of seven possibilities as there are only 7 different face shapes. The first face shape is the oval. The oval is the most ideal of all the face shapes. This type of face is slightly narrower at the jaw line than at the temples. A round face is full looking with a round chin and hairline. The square face has a strong square jaw line as well as hairline. The heart shaped face is wide at the temples and narrower at the chin. Individuals with a triangular shaped face have the opposite of the heart shape, with a dominate jaw line and narrower cheek bones and temple region. The oblong face is defined as long and slender. The width is the same at the forehead and just below the cheekbones. Last is the diamond face, this is a cross between a heart shape and and a dramatic oval shaped face, but being a little narrower at the temple. Now that you can determine which face shape you have, you can begin that first step towards your perfect style. If you have the oval face shape you can wear many different styles, as most any style will suit your face; short, medium or long. Those blessed with a round face should choose a style which adds fullness and height to the crown. Shorter styles help to make the face appear longer and narrower.
