Recently, City of Riverside - Mayor Rusty Bailey gave a proclamation declaring November National Alzheimer’s Month – already a nationally-recognized month. Throughout November, City Hall lights have shone a beautiful shade of purple in support of those affected by this disease. Not only is it difficult on those diagnosed, but on their loving families and friends, as well. Please take a moment to learn, value and help those affected. The bracelet is worn by at risk persons and is used by Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical Personnel to help identity a found person that may not be able to provide information about themselves. The information found in the profile helps first responders locate, identify, and most importantly, get a lost person home safe. This program is free to all Riverside residents.
