Every Christian is called to be a leader - whether it be in the home, the workplace, the classroom. We cannot be content to follow the crowds, but we must lead others to Christ! But what are some aspects of Christian leadership? 1. Service - a leader serves those whom she leads. 2. Integrity - our lives must reflect our words. 3. Friendship with Christ - the ultimate goal of all leadership is to being about the good of those whom we lead - and the greatest good anyone can possess is to know Jesus. A leader, then, must introduce people to Jesus Christ through word and deed, so we must know Him intimately. 4. Humility - a leader knows his weaknesses and trusts in the Father for the grace to overcome them. 5. Courage - it takes fortitude to stand up for Christ and for what is right when the rest of the world is easily swayed. 6. Perseverance - a Christian leader never gives up, even when it is difficult. Today, do not be a mere follower of the crowds. Lead by example and word, and be zealous for souls! #40daysofinspiration
