Let me make this clear. I am a Partisan. I have chosen a side. I am on the side of rising wages and growing employment for all. I am on the side of equal opportunity no matter what family or neighborhood youre born into. I am on the side of the hungry having enough to eat just by right of being human beings! I am on the side of the homeless having shelter because not relieving their condition leaves us all out in the cold as a society. I am on the side of children being able to play without worry of gunfire. I am on the side of teachers being as well paid as congress members. I am on the side of students being encouraged to explore all of lifes lessons and the wealth of human diversity and beauty, not just a path to financial wealth. I am on the side of our seniors having a secure retirement where they can enjoy time with their grandchildren and be loved and appreciated by all of us. I am on the side of public investment in health sciences to find cures for mental and genetic disorders and cancers to relieve the suffering of millions! I am on the side of people coming here from other lands in search of freedom and fair opportunities to build a better life for their families. I am on the side of business owners who invest in fair wages and fair trade practices and understand profits include a healthy employee and community. I am on the side of the compassionate treatment of all the life we share this Earth with in ways that help us live together respectfully in peace and dignity. I am a Partisan for compassion, peace, justice and equal opportunity! And I am on your side my brothers and sisters because I truly love you with all of our differences of views and opinions, our faults and great qualities, I think you all add beauty to this world I walk in and for that I am most grateful!~ Joseph Segal
