Every Saturday I have the opportunity to be a part of the Alabama - TopicsExpress

Every Saturday I have the opportunity to be a part of the Alabama football experience on the sidelines, and it is really cool to be a small part of The Process. This season has been particularly interesting because of the QB situation. There are always crazy Facebook posts and people that call into sports radio shows that inform us of what Coach Saban needs to do and who he needs to play. Blake Sims has taken incredible criticism at some times and praise at other times. People have criticized his leadership and everything else, but the reality is that unless you are in the locker room, at practice, or on the field....you really have no idea what is going on. That said, I want to enlighten everyone to one fact. I would venture to say that Alabama has never had a QB that has worked this hard during the off season. He had no chance according to most to even be playing. Blake took that as a challenge and when very few people believed in him, he believed in himself. He worked his butt off. In fact, Blake did not win the LSU game in the last 50 seconds. That game was won during the summer with all the work he put in. I watch Blake as a leader every week and I am proud of him. No matter what happens the rest of the year, Blake Sims has proven to be the hardest working QB that I have ever seen. His passing efficiency is one of the best in the nation, and he works great under pressure. His 3rd down efficiency is incredible. Blake gives the defenses a lot to defend because his running has to be accounted for. He has gone from a guy with no chance, to the starting QB of the best college football program in the world. Thanks Blake for helping to make this season especially special and lets go show the committees and the rest of the country we mean business in these last 3 games. ROLL TIDE!!
