Every Sunday evening the Farmer and the "boss lady" (who knew?) do a walk around the farm to get a look at the entire farm and decide what needs to happen in the coming week. Here are just a few items on this weeks list..cultivate the sweet corn(if the ground is ever dry enough to do this), harvest all 100 heads of lettuce in hoop 3 before it bolts,wash and pack it up, figure out if the cukes can be saved from the alien aphid invasion, tie up the tomatoes in hoop 2, pull out all the turnips, till under the old salad mix, plant the last winter squash,lettuce, and kale. Harvest potatoes,okra,beans,beets, salad,zucchini,chard,broccoli,cabbage. Weed EVERYTHING!!!And this list does not include our daily routines with animal care, office and kitchen work, cooking, laundry and just living! Does everything on the list get finished?
